Anita's Decoupage Party Invitations

If you’re thinking of making some handmade invites for your child’s birthday party, we have the perfect idea for you. The Anita’s Party Animals Decoupage has plenty of cute characters to feature on the invites and make them that extra bit special!

1.      We chose the elephant, gorilla and panda the from the two packs of Anita’s decoupage to feature on our invites.

2.      Begin by assembling your decoupage pieces with 3D foam dots. Assemble in number order.

3.      Once you have assembled your decoupage, choose some matching coloured card to feature on your invites. We went for pink, teal and lime green to match the backgrounds of the decoupage.

4.      Using square cards as the base of your invite measure out a piece of square coloured card to be slightly smaller than the invite so you are left with border on your invite.

5.      Adhere the coloured card to the invite using 3D foam dots. Then also adhere your decoupage on top with 3D foam dots. We chose to have the elephant on the pink card, the gorilla on the teal card and the panda on the lime green card.

6.      Stamp out a sentiment of your choice onto strips of coloured card. We went with ‘Party Time’. We matched the colour of the card to the background of the corresponding decoupage. Adhere these onto the invite using 3D foam dots.

7.      Now you have a range of decoupaged invites suitable for any party guest!
