Design A Marbled Jewellery Dish

Get creative and design your own marbled jewellery dish using summery, bright colours. We show you a simple way to create an on-trend marble effect. Beautifully packaged, it makes a lovely gift too!

1. First, wash the plate well and clean it using white spirit to ensure it’s free from dust and grease. Then pour one porcelain paint at a time into a plastic container.

2. Next, using the skewer, stir the paints together very gently and carefully to create a marbled effect. However, do not let them mix together.

3. Turn the container right over and pour all the paint onto the centre of the plate. Now leave the paint to collect on the plate for a while. Remove the container and let the paint run.

4. Lift the plate up in order to distribute the paint evenly across the entire plate so that the surface of the plate is entirely covered in paint. Afterwards, let the paint dry thoroughly. In order to speed up the drying process, the paint can be set in the oven for 30 minutes at 160 C.
